With each dose, you consume between 4.2 g (5 ml) and 12.6 g (15 ml) of sucrose when the medicine is taken according to the dosage instructions.<\/p>\n This should be taken into account by people with diabetes. Marshmallow syrup contains the preservatives methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).<\/p>\n Dosage and method of administration<\/strong><\/p>\n Follow the instructions of your pharmacist or doctor carefully. Unless otherwise advised by your doctor or pharmacist, follow these dosage instructions:<\/p>\n Children under 1 year: single dose of 5 ml The recommended dose should be taken 3 to 4 times a day.
