About the medicine
Marshmallow syrup contains mucilage from marshmallow roots, which forms a thin layer over the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, protecting them from irritation and thus soothing a dry and irritating cough.
Marshmallow syrup is recommended for respiratory tract conditions accompanied by a dry and irritating cough, as well as for hoarseness. It is suitable for children and adults. It contains sucrose, which should be taken into account by people with diabetes.
